We believe Ethereum is allowing us to reimagine our financial systems, organizations & economies - to build fairer socioeconomic systems.
Unfortunately, the Ethereum ecosystem is facing (at least) two problems:
Onboarding - newcomers having little understanding of why we're here & how to engage productively.
Navigation - tooling & dApps are fragmented across infinite websites, making it hard to navigate & work across DAOs.
MetaGame is a coordination game aiming at addressing both of these problems. Addressing them is as much of a community & educational effort as it is a technical one, but the technical is what needs most funding.
We are streamlining onboarding by building infrastructure around helping people understand the philosophy of Web3, discover or join DAOs, build their own or share their knowledge with others.
Besides onboarding, the infrastructure we’re building is a modular front-end aimed at breaking down silos, making navigation & work across organizations easier.
Things we do/did:

✅ Built our first product: MyMeta Profiles
✅ Built a minimum viable platform: MetaOS
✅ Built the onboarding game & decentralized courses
✅ Published a bunch of educational content & podcast episodes
✅ Organized a conference, a hackathon, a festival, part 2 of it & now doing #3
✅ Fostered an awesome community & a small network of projects
✅ Helped people level up & break into the DAO ecosystem
✅ Made sure everything we do is fully open-source
Our long term vision is to build a general purpose coordination game for helping people level up, find others & solve real-world problems. A decentralized society built around well-being and impact maximization.

🎉 MetaFest
MetaFest is a unique event focused on DAOs, regenerative projects & related non-crypto initiatives.
Talks, panels, workshops, an unconference, games & loads of other activities will provide attendees with the opportunity to learn new things & connect with others through an engaging experience.
This is the third MetaFest but the first one IRL, organized by MetaGame & partners. Before, we organized this conference, hackathon, a festival & the second edition of it
Why
We’re bringing together thinkers & doers from fragmented but aligned communities to build bridges between crypto & non-crypto projects as well as inspire the creation of new initiatives.
Our overall goal is to spark local & global coordination & collaboration towards a regenerative future but also expect attendees to gain practical skills & knowledge they can apply to their own projects and organizations.
Where & When
The event will take place from August 11th to 25th of 2023 in Fort Punta Christo, a 200-year-old fortress located near Pula, Croatia - consisting of a three-day main event from August 16th to 18th as well as side quests & adventures that attendees can participate in before & after.
Explore the beautiful surroundings of Punta Christo, historical architecture of Pula or hop in a kayak & explore caverns. Not enough? Maybe some scuba diving, jet skiing, quad biking or paintballin’ will suit your desire?
Conclusion
