great to see some action, good changes, love Tomasz & how communicative he seems to be with the community, overall increase of transparency around goals etc. etc.
lame to see seemingly not even a single person was fired from the EF, Tomasz seems to have come in as a new layer of management rather than replacement for Aya, who actually seems to have moved up the ladder. Also lame that in all of the new "strategic focus" & communications, there‘s still 0 emphasis on supporting the application layer
I'm not afraid to say that I love Ayas vision and also acknowledge that we need wartime leadership right now. I think blobs are breaking relatively strong cryptoeconomic incentive mechanisms for ETH, and finding a way to make ETH the obvious bridge between L2s will certainly help.we "just need" new opcodes
Honestly I just dont know enough about the technical side to make any claims, but this sounded like the best case against current trajectory that I‘ve read:

We want to help people connect and make communities stronger, this was our first step.
Happy to know more people also feels how a change in society and how we relate is needed, and is moving towards that.
