What Comes Next?
What are the 4 children of MetaGame and where we go from here.
dAcademy
From gaining an understanding of how things work, to getting involved in the ecosystem and down to workflows for specific roles inside organizations - there‘s a need for playbooks.
dAcademy is a p2p education protocol and platform where people complete playbooks and unlock skill attestations to gain entry to DAOs or just build up their knowledge & resume.
But the main problem isn’t content itself, it‘s the lack of accountability. You come by a playbook that could change your life, but you never complete it.
When it comes to workflow playbooks, people are financially incentivized to complete them. In terms of other educational playbooks, there will likely be some kind of squad system & staking $ on your goals. financial incentive + peer pressure = win
There are a bunch of ways this could go:
Project-specific gated “classrooms” for DAOs
Turning pupils into masters & stacking accreditations
Linking playbooks into skill trees / knowledge graphs
A squad & staking functionality
Curation & writer-rewards via token upvoting
Most of these are old ideas we‘ve wanted to build a long time ago. With this renewed focus, we also want to renew our relationship with users and build in the direction you want us to build!
Anyhow!
Over the past month or so, Dysbulic & Omka have done a great job at rebuilding most of the functionality into a new mess-free codebase to evolve dAcademy into a standalone application. And they continue hosting awesome workshops on discord!

NextMeta
What‘s the meta? That‘s the question NextMeta is trying to answer!
NextMeta is a podcast and a newsletter covering a broad range of topics.
Though we‘re starting with onchain economies and decentralized organizations, we‘re interested in all frontier tech, topics and projects helping humans, communities, and ecosystems thrive - or more broadly, help us avoid dystopian futures.
Frontier technologies and the future of humanity.
NextMeta is a merge and rebrand of 2 of our main podcast series and this newsletter.
We upgraded the podcast in several ways including the beginning of recording in the video format and introduction of shorts. We also just bought a proper camera and started recording things IRL - first series of IRL interviews coming in a bit! 👀
Actually…
If any specific topic or potential guests come to mind, write so in the comments :)
Other than that, consider:
DAO Accelerationism
DAO Accelerationism‘s core objective is to spread the DAO meme, aggregate DAO knowledge and help the new generations of DAOists start DAOs while avoiding pitfalls.
Why? Because Web3 is about building decentralised systems, and we cannot reliably have decentralised systems without decentralised organisations to govern them.
DAO/acc yearly cyclical projects:
✅ Virtual gathering of DAOists for talks & panels - DAOcember
✅ Crowdsourced DAO playbook, iterated after DAOcember - DAO Playbook
✅ DAO incubation/acceleration program - DAO Spring
⏰ DAO demos and job fair - DAO Rush Week
Awards for top DAOs & DAO tooling - Grand DAO Awards
Currently, we are organizing DAO Rush Week & starting to prepare for DAOcember.

MetaFest
Finally, MetaFest!
Last year we did MetaFest Croatia - where the theme was "coordination, regeneration & the bigger picture".
As the name implies, it was mainly about DAOs and regen projects, with a decent mix of more philosophical topics like metamodernism & game b.
Next year, we‘ll most likely be doing MetaFest Switzerland, where the theme will be similar but expanded to include other frontier technologies.
Hope in here to stay in the loop!
Tell us…
Onwards!
As you can see, we‘re not done yet! We look forward to seeing you in one or all of these projects! :)
