🌱 The Mint & Migration
I think its safe to say the Seed calculation & minting process is now properly understood by the new champion, simplified through the removal of the claim page step with Michiel now committed to minting on time, Luxumbra stepping up as a deputy to help push it along & Penguin ready to step in when needed 💪

But,
As you all know, the fees on mainnet have been stupid high.
People need to spend >$50 to claim their Seeds, then another >$50 to trade them in - on a nice day. This might not be that big of a deal for people earning >$3k, but its a huge deal for the people earning <$1k.
So we said, enough is enough!
And the Seed pool on Polygon was born 😱
Huge props to Bacon for inducing labor & delivering the baby pool.
Props to everyone who helped in the process & migrated the initial liquidity.

Can’t properly kick off a fundraise without a nice landing page & the piece of crap I (a non-designer) slapped together almost 2 years ago simply isn’t gonna cut it 🤷♂️
So, Dave took up designing the new landing page & I started rewriting the copy. Here’s the draft for the new version of the landing page:

To find your metagame means to play life in the most optimal way.
To coordinate with others on building a better world; doing things that create a positive impact, make you happy AND earn you money at the same time.
The revolution will be televized,

I know, I know. Its still a bit cringe & “rough around the edges”. Also, too much text & doesn’t explain things such as what we actually do:

Produce content, educational as well as promotional
Build technologies, such as MetaSys, MyMeta or MetaOS
Put together the pieces - bringing together different building blocks & projects, so that we’re not reinventing the wheel and building a monolithic platform.

🤔 Go to 🚨-issues-n-ideas & suggest a DAO that is aligned with MetaGame based on this criteria
🧠 Suggest or host a workshop on anything that could be useful to a DAO or newcoming as well as advanced DAO contributors
🤗 Suggest or host a social event a-la Sunday Funday, a games night, book club or whatever that might be fun
📕 Get someone to write a Playbook or submit an existing one adapted from their article, a twitter thread or whatever

Normal roles are entry level roles that anyone can take on without committing too much time or taking on too much responsibility.
🛠️ Builder - An evergreen role, always looking for more TypeScript & other kinds of builders. Know someone? Bring them? Its you but you got frustrated with stale PRs & bad PMing - give us another chance 😇
🤗 Innkeeper - Another always-in-demand role, but this one requiring less specialized skills. Interested? Go down to the 🤗-innkeepers-guild
📣 Shiller - Promote MetaGame & the upcoming fundraise in any adjacent DAO or crypto community
💩 Shitposter - Come up with funny tweets & memes to post on twitter, drop in 🐤-tweet-arena
🧠 Educator - Come up with useful knowledge & tips we should be posting from MetaGame’s twitter account, drop in 🐤-tweet-arena
📚 Librarian - Be a curator of knowledge for MetaGame. Post useful things in in any of the Elevate category channels (🧠-brain-exchange, 🦾-skill-bot, 🧮-tutorials, 🧙-wisdom, 📚-reading, 👓-watching or 💪-well-being). Participate in & facilitate upkeep & creation of new Great Houses & Playbooks
🐙🐙 Deputy roles
Deputy roles are more important, thus come with some responsibility & commitment. You will be working with Champions.
🗣️ Shillers Guild Deputy - Help with anything related to the promotion of MetaGame. Team up with Anna & ask her what she needs help with or come up with your own ways of promoting then explain it in 🥠-shillers-guild
🤑 Rainmakers Guild - With the upcoming fundraise, we could definitely use more people that are willing to help with it. Perfect for patrons that are looking to make an additional impact & shill us to their potential-patron friends
🕵️♂️ Headhunters Guild - They scour hackathons, related communities & job board as well as spread the word elsewhere, to make sure that open roles are being filled. Start doing it or ask about it in 🕵-headhunters-guild
🌉 Bridgebuilders Guild - Bridgebuilders are about making connections between MetaFam & other guilds, both "MetaGame guilds" & those that haven't been onboarded yet. Its perfect for those that are active in multiple DAOs or know many DAOs & want to bring them closer together.
🎨 Artists Guild - We're trying to make MetaGame into "an intersection of technology, philosophy & art". Well, we need more art! There is no lack of art that needs to be made, just ask about it in 🎨-artists-guild
👘 MetaMerch - This art should also get on all sorts of "wearables" & other physical items. Could be a shirt, could be a portable eco-friendly ashtray.
🧚 XP Fairies - This one's for those who get frustrated with the injustices in the XP system. Sourcecred is great but its not a panacea & there are problems that can be fixed, things that can get balanced! Ask 🤗-innkeepers-guild & help.

Champion roles are of highest importance and highest commitment & responsibility roles. There are requirements that need to be taken seriously.
🙌 Meetup Master - For those that care about making sure the Community Gatherings are set up & general knowledge exchange facilitated, whether through scheduling talks or workshops based on 🧠-brain-exchange' or Librarian's feedback
❓ Re:Quests Champion - One of the most important roles. Its about making sure that quests are written as they arise, well explained & distributed. They scrape Notion & work closely with other champions to know what their needs
✔️ AchievMinter - Keeps track of 🔮-guild-n-raid-reports, 😇-did-a-thing & 🙌-give-thanks, collaborates with 🧚-xp-fairies-guild to make sure people who do great things are rewarded with achievement NFTs
🤖 Bot Army - Bot army champion does what bot army champions do - work on bots. The needs for bots are many & varied, there is much to do.
🧠 Hivemind Champion - Works closely with librarians & meetup masters as well as the guilds from wider MetaGame to make sure that the knowledge is being exchanged, newsletters & people are all plugged in with the ultimate goal of fully tapping into the collective intelligence through raids such as Asketh & nice interfaces.
