Community calls and gatherings
On the May 5 call we had Cymatics talking on eco-responsible and regen community development, followed by Freo’s intro to Culture Blocks. (Replay on Youtube)
On May 12 Mr A from AUT Labs talked about their DAO-native tools for decentralized communities, and Jin from MetaFactory gave us the low-down on M3. (Replay on Youtube)
May 19 had a theme going, with talks by Cryptogoth from Detroit Arcology and Travelingthroughtime from Arkology (Replay on Youtube)
On May 26 Sero from the MG builder crew gave an intro to Hunters Workshop, and Michelle Huang from AkiyaDAO told us all about repairing and reviving abandoned houses in Japan for group evolution. (Replay on Youtube)
Twitter Hangouts
The Twitter hangs continued!
To continue the warmups for MetaFest we had Ori Shimony, Dr. Nick, and Jeremy Akers on to talk about Choosing Your Own Mechanisms; METADREAMER, playerzer0x and peth for a chat on Coordination, AI & Humanity; and our man Musashi13 led a second session on HaloFi.
Props to the community crew for getting all that set up, with a special mention to peth for bookings Trolleo and flyer design, vanessagil for bookings, promo, and Lens uploads, Musashi13 for bookings and hosting, koH for booking, and b0gie for recording and uploading the calls.

📱 Technology
Behind the scenes, the technology team builds MetaOS, the MetaGame website, and more.
Recent work includes:
Dave’s upgraded designs for various parts of the website
vid’s Playbooks x Quest Chains integration, along with the addition of Plausible for stats
Polimyl deactivated SourceCred & popped in to dispense advice
Sero’s implementation of the new design for MyMeta profile edits, debug sessions on the meTokens integration, and preps for improvements on Guilds and custom blocks for MyMeta profiles
dysbulic’s continued work on the refactor of the ’Chievemints website, review and cleanup for the meTokens implementation, a build system switch to speed it up, GraphQL config updates, Guild overview updates, and a quick repair to the config to fix an issue that vid reported
Alec’s review and merge of PRs from vid, nitegeist, and Sero, plus overall project management and disbursal of bounties
Dave, Vid & Sero made a list & started tackling issues as a brand new “UX Squad”

🌱 Growth
Growth is how MetaGame gets bigger—more Octos, more Players, more Guilds, more everything.
joseacabrerav got busy …
getting on calls with potential collaborators
doing virtual in-person promo for MetaGame and MetaFest on several shows
going through 111 (!) leads and links to trim down the list of potential investors
getting in touch with the crème de la crème of the trimmed contact list to gauge interest in MetaGame
Talking about getting busy, peth …
also sent out stacks of flyers to be given out at every major conference
talked with investors and potential patrons, including investment funds
continued to send out the PurplePaper
put together the MetaGame “UX Squad” super team after a passing vote
worked with the UX Squad on the first set of User eXperience issues
Rika worked on
completing a course on legal entity options for DAOs and seeing what might work for MetaGame
collating conversations with legal-type people about entities
making the first steps to creating an actual legal structure for MetaGame
wrote a doc with learnings & notes from talking to lawyers about this
Musashi13 worked with AUT Labs to get MetaGame set up for user testing, and vanessagil did some background work on the MetaFest setup.
