News will now be going out on a monthly basis, most likely in sync with the mints & expanded to include things such as player or achievement of the month.

For the fresh; MetaGame is a massive online coordination game with the goal of finding the most optimal ways to play life on a personal as well as the collective level.
Just consider it a real-life MMO-RPG & know we’re currently producing educational & other media, organizing events & overall, building the onboarding for the DAO space & a network of DAOs as well as an operating system for composable communities, a modular front-end for web3 legos.

How joining MetaGame works:

You start your journey as a Curious Octo. It simply means your curiosity has eventually led you to look down the MetaGame rabbit hole & wonder whats in there.
🐙🐙 Engaged Octo
Being an Engaged Octo means you have already completed at least one quest on the Engaged Octo’s path or any general quest & checked into discord.
This also gives you temporary access to the MetaGame community. You can think of it as a transitory stage while you test MetaGame & MetaGame tests you 🙃
🐙🐙🐙 Player/Patron
Players & Patrons are fully fledged Octos, members of MetaFam and The 300 of MetaGame - on their way to become the founders of MetaGame.

It started with a check-in from some of the members
Then a jam on self-care & wellbeing with Katerina & Raimova
Jaxcoder then gave us a brief of what BuidlGuidl is up to & what TalentDAO is
Finally, Ross & Shiv gave us an intro to LexDAO & their kali.gg legal wrappers

📱 Technology
luxumbra added a feedback box to the MetaGame website. Any problems with the site? Look for the Feedback button at the bottom of the page. Plus, the preps for the next mint are underway, with assistance from Alec and Polimyl.
dan13ram finalised the Quest Chains × MetaOS integration, and gave a presentation on Quest Chains on a Giveth Meet the Makers call.
dysbulic kept the servers on 🌱, also finding time to start on a taxing upgrade to the codebase and help Maxwe11 get set up.
0xmaker.eth got the tricky Patrons page upgrade done, coming soon to the main site near you.
Polimyl fixed up the deploy process. Ever get an error when trying to get on the MetaGame site when we were doing a new deployment? Not any more! 🤞🤞🤞
Alec made the Patrons leaderboard display pSeed holdings (👀 see who has the most) & the patrons signup page display $ requirements for each rank. Want to get into the 🥉 Bronze League for Phase II? You’ll need at least $83.24 of pSeeds for that … unless someone else bids it up higher.)
The Quests list now has a tidier look, thanks to luxumbra 🦡
Maxwe11 and krzysu have started getting their hands on some of their code into the repo 🔥
