News update & instructions on how to claim your tokens
Things have been picking up pace since the Gitcoin campaign. If you contributed there, thank you once again & please do claim your rewards.
What's new? Most notably:
We launched the website a few days after the campaign closed
We launched the ChievMint Factory, for all our achievement NFT minting needs
Kay joins the MetaFam and launches a virtual conferencing tool - Interspace
We recorded & preparing to launch the first podcast episode on the MetaRadio
We redone the on-boarding system, drop by our Discord
We’ll be at ETHDenver, building the character creation flow and player profiles
Leaderboard
Burrrata jumpst in head-first. Leaping #42 up to #16, closing in on the Platinum.
Aaron appears from out of nowhere, jumps up to the Silver league to border Gold
Kay makes the jump from #28 all the way up to #4 Diamond rank dropping Vinay Gupta down to Platinum.
Nicolas, Kay, Arshy, Christofon, Ryan & Gus are the first to complete the on-boarding Quest, finding their place on the leaderboard.
Seeds & Achievements
Getting tokens should be as easy and fun, as getting a high five or a free shirt from one of those T-shirt cannons at a sporting event.
Well, we’re not there yet. Meantime, we’ve made a little guide to help you claim your tokens. You, who contributed work to MetaGame and you, who contributed funds during our Gitcoin grant campaign and otherwise.
Because we’re feeling thankful, the DAI you contributed will be converted at 1:1 with Seeds. These tokens represent the MetaGame equity & will be used for voting on decisions inside the MetaGame DAO on Aragon.
We also have some sweet NFTs being minted by the ChievMint Factory - DM it if you find yourself in one of our top 56 lists.
How to Redeem $SEED Tokens in the Aragon DAO
Check the Seed sheet to see how many seeds you’ve earned.
Publish the amount of Seeds you’re claiming, along with an Ethereum address where you want the Seeds on. One you can use with Aragon, MetaMask? Anyhow, the tweet should look something like this: “Claiming the #MetaGameDAO Seeds @MetaFam ! + your-github-or-discord-username & YOUR-ETH-ADDRESS”.
Drop into the #Claim-Seed channel on the MetaGame Discord and share your tweet. Ping @Yalor, @PEth, or @Hammad as you’ll need one of us to create a vote to mint your Seeds.
If your request is legit, you should see your tokens in your wallet in less than 72 hours. Haven’t gotten your Seeds yet? We recommend obsessively checking the status of open votes in the MetaGame DAO voting app. 🤪
