MetaGame Alpha 2 is aLive
Don’t want to make a big fuss about it, but some of the things we recently did add up to a big step forward in the realizing of MetaGame.
We decided to call this the Alpha 2 version of MetaGame, quietly rolled it out last week, made sure everything works & are now ready to start taking in more traffic from you, fresh & stale lurkers alike 🙃
Changelog
Some of these have already been explained and we’ll dive deeper into the rest of them below; in short:

Raids
Below are updates on some of the ongoing raids - not all ongoing raids & definitely not all quests.
MyMeta, MetaMe, MetaProfolio
We’re might not be fully set on the name, but we’re fully set on what purpose they serve. It’s supposed to be your easy-to-set-up Web3 work portfolio or a decentralized LinkedIn profile based on 3Box.
The thing finally got a pro designer, here’s the new design WIP:
There’s a few things to be added, tweaked and shuffled around then it’s onto building the front-end and hooking it up to the already-built back-end.
InterState
A game-like interface with the Web3 world and it’s people. You’ll be able to hang out with the people, find all useful information, build an HQ for your project, store all useful information, and hang out with your crew in private.
It’s not what it is that’s new; what’s new is that it now has a champion - and a good one. Jonathan, a dude with 15+ years of experience in browser game development; he dove into research last week, picked the game engine & is almost ready to get crackin’.

Skill Trees
With this too, we couldn’t have asked for a better champion. One of the most well-known educators in the Ethereum space, Simona Pop. She started outlining the tree and had a session on the Ethereum development branch with the legendary Austin.
Achievement Network
We’ve been minting achievement NFTs for a while, but it’s time to try and standardize the system. We started bringing together other people making achievements/attestations on Ethereum, to exchange knowledge and explore the best ways of doing this.
So far we got Dekan of Raid Guild, Scott of Maker DAO, Brian of Rabbit Hole, Tristan of Research Collective & Kevin of Gitcoin. We had a first call yesterday and will be coming out with some learnings soon.
Now what?
Now we onboard some new metagamers & keep on grinding through these raids!
